Tamworth, England – Tottenham Hotspur will go through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a grueling battle against the non-league side Tamworth, winning 3-0 after extra time.
The match took place at the Lamb Ground, where Tamworth put up a gallant fight, taking on the Premier League giants for extended time. The hosts, currently playing in the 16th position of the National League, were able to hold for 101 minutes until that longed goal finally arrived.
It was the 101st minute when Tamworth substitute Nathan Tshikuna inadvertently netted the ball, deflecting Dominic Solanke’s shot beyond goalkeeper Jas Singh, putting the hosts ahead.
